Pickup from the airport.

We will pick you up from the airport and take you to the hotel to rest and acclimatize. Later in the evening we have arranged welcome dinner and also short talk from the organizer about the tour and information and tips.

Sightseeing in Lhasa – Jhokhang and Sera

Morning we will visit the Jokhang Temple, the spiritual center of Tibetan Buddhism, attracts thousands and thousands of pilgrimage from all over Tibet and around the world, it was built by the great King Songten Gampo.In the afternoon we visit one of biggest monasteries in Tibet, belongs to Gelugpa or yellow sect, Sera monastery which was built in the year of1419 by “chamchen Chojie” a disciple of Tsongkapa. They are very famous in ‘Buddhism Scriptures Debating

Sightseeing – Potala and Norbu lingkha

In the morning we will visit Potala palace, served both as administrative centre and religious centre. in Tibet. It was built in the 7th century by Tibetan king “Songtsen Gampo” and later renovated by 5th Dalai Lama in the 17th century. You can explore the grandest of this myriad chapels, its audience halls, the jeweled and Golden burial chortens(sputa Tombs) of past Dalai Lamas, and tremendous number of Buddhist frescoes, Thangkas, combinations of Mandela, figures of the Buddha. In the afternoon we will visit Norbu Lingka the summer palace of Dalai Lamas. Norbu Lingka is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and was added as an extension of this Historic Ensemble in 2001. It was built by the 7th Dalai Lama and served both as administrative centre and religious centre. It is a unique representation of Tibetan palace architecture.

Lhasa –Shigatse overnight

After breakfast we start the journey and head toward Shigatse which is the second largest city in Tibet. It’s also the home town of Banchen Lama, so his famous monastery Tashi Lunpo is there.

Shigatse-Tingri (Bebar)

After early breakfast we will visit Penchen Lama’s monastery Tashilunpo monastery where you will see many Tibetan pilgrims who has come from far away to get blessing. We will also come across many small villages; we can stop and look around, we will have our lunch at Lhatse, there people are famous for singing and play Tibetan guitar. We will come across people singing songs. We will spend the night at Bebar.

Tingri – Everest – Rongbuk hotel

After breakfast we leave Tingri and head to Mount Everest, Today we drive to Mt. Everest and stay overnight in Rongbuk hotel. While passing through you will see Himalaya range including peaks over 8000, Makalu, Lhotse, Everest and Cho Oyu. The best moments to watch Mt. Everest's are early morning and late evening (sun rise and sun set) when Everest is shining like a goddess in the sunglow. The first sight of the mighty Everest simply leaves you speechless. We will have lunch at Tashi Zom where we can visit some village houses and local people. We will also visit the lower Rongbuk monastery which has both monk and nun. We will have our dinner at Rongbuk monastery teahouse, the monks and the nuns will come to teahouse so we can meet them and chat.

Everest – Shishapangma base camp

After breakfast we will head to Shishapangma base camp which is about 5000m, there we will rest and acclimatize and also get ready for the next day trek to ABC. Today while you rest we will arrange the porters and yaks to carry our camping equipments to ABC.

Shisha Pangma base camp – ABC

If we all have been good and not effects of the altitude then we will head straight to ABC which is 5400m and camp there. But if we feel little not well then we will stop halfway to ABC and camp for the night there for customer’s safety.

ABC rest day

Well if we did not have to rest half way to ABC then we can have one day at the ABC to rest and meet mountaineers. We will arrange photography time as there is the glaciers like tower.

ABC – Base camp

Right after breakfast we will head back to the base camp and camp for the night there.

EBC to Sakya

We have our breakfast and then say good bye to the mountaineers and head to Sakya, the Meaning of Sakya means Pale earth, this place has a unique grey landscape of Ponpo Ri, it’s close to Shigatse. In Sakya the main attraction is the Sakya monastery. This place actually has two monasteries, on either side of the Trum chu. Here we have the Chapel of silver chortens, inner Courtyard, Prayer pole, protector’s chapel and many more. It will take about 6 to 7 hours driving. We will stay for the night near Sakya monastery.

Sakya-Yumdrok Yumtso- lhasa

We have our breakfast and then say good bye to the mountaineers and take some more images of Everest and then head to Sakya, We will drive half way the same way we came and then the rest half we turn to Sakya County. Best moments to observe and enjoy the culture with cup of tea or wondering among the local people. And also do some shopping.
